Alfers publishes research on Holocaust poetry in French journal
Sandra Alfers, an associate professor of German in the Department of Modern & Classical Languages, has published an article in a special volume of "" focusing on "Victim Testimony and Understanding Mass Violence." The volume is edited by Alexandra Garbarini (Williams College) and Boris Adjemian (Bibliothèque Nubar, Paris).
In her article, Alfers explores camp poetry written in Theresienstadt between 1943 and 1945 as an instance of early victim testimony. The special volume is available both in print and .
