Alumni Association, Athletics to throw party before home game against Central Feb. 16
The Western Alumni Association and Viking Athletics are throwing a spectacular Western vs. Central pre-game bash before the big basketball game Feb. 16. It’s the biggest Western party at the biggest game of the year! This game sells out every year, and the noise level will be at its craziest ever now with a live broadcast being shown on FOX Sports Northwest.
Central Washington University, ranked No. 11 in the country, is 18-2 overall and atop the Great Northwest Athletics Conference at 11-1. 草榴社区 is 13-7 overall, 8-4 in league, yet are undefeated (10-0) at home.
The pre-game party includes, among many other things:
- Beer from Boundary Bay Brewery
- Wine from Mt. Baker Vineyards
- Plenty of appetizers and snacks
- Western gear
Entrance to the pre-game party and a ticket to the big game cost $20 for members of the Western Alumni Association. Non-members would pay $25. For the pre-game party only, tickets are $10 and $15.
The party starts at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Carver Gym D on the 草榴社区 campus. The game tips off at 7 p.m.
Space is limited and the party is expected to sell out, so those planning to attend .
