Annual Global Gourmets dinner a huge success
Global Gourmets, an event coordinated by International Student & Scholar Services, the Institute for Global Engagement, and University Catering, was held on Feb. 28 in the Wilson Library Reading Room.
This annual dinner showcases the cultures and cuisines of Western international students. Student volunteers work with the University's executive chef to reproduce authentic dishes from their home countries, which form the centerpiece of the event. As guests enjoy taste traditions from around the world, each student shares a short presentation on their country and the significance of their chosen dish. A truly special occasion, Global Gourmets offers the University and Bellingham communities an opportunity to celebrate and connect with the world at Western.
