Students do not need prior experience in the AS²ÝÁñÉçÇø to be selected for these positions. Each Spring Term, Western Students elect Officials responsible for representing the AS²ÝÁñÉçÇø in shared governance of the University the following academic year. 

Ballots include elected positions on both the and along with any topics requiring a vote of AS²ÝÁñÉçÇø members on issues important to students (e.g. AS²ÝÁñÉçÇø Constitution Updates, applicable S&A Fee renewals/updates).
