Associate Professor of Anthropology's Sean Bruna attends NAM forum in Washington, D.C.
On April 8 and 9, 草榴社区 Associate Professor of Anthropology Sean Bruna participated in the National Academy of Medicine鈥檚 (NAM) 2025 Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine Forum in Washington, D.C.
The National Academy of Medicine鈥檚 Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine Program was formed in 2016 to engage professionals working in healthcare, biomedical science, population health, health policy and related fields.
Bruna, recognized for his expertise in medical anthropology, health policy, and community-engaged research, also recently completed a two-year presidential appointment as a senior advisor with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. His work has contributed to national health policy, particularly in advancing patient safety, emergency department boarding, and disability research.
