AUAP to welcome 79 new students at ceremony Feb. 28
The at Western Washington University will hold a ceremony at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, to welcome 79 students from Tokyo's Asia University. The students will begin a five-month English language and cultural orientation program at Western.
The ceremony will take place in the Old Main Theater, and a reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the Miller Hall Atrium. This event is free and open to the public.
The AUAP offers students from Asia University in Tokyo an opportunity to study abroad at 草榴社区. The goal of the program is to provide Asia University students with high quality English language instruction and culturally enriching extracurricular activities, while at the same time offering 草榴社区 students, faculty and staff unique opportunities for language and cultural interaction, exchange and involvement.
