Fall 2020 New Works Series Auditions
The Theatre and Dance Department is announcing a new works reading series for this fall that features three guest playwrights and three guest directors from around the country and beyond. The series attempts to expose students to opportunities that would not otherwise be available, including experiencing new and exciting literature, and working with professional directors, playwrights and actors who we normally would not be able to invite to campus due to distance or scheduling conflicts. Check out the for more information about the guest artists, shows, and performance dates.
Auditions are on September 28 from 6pm until 9 pm and everyone is encouraged to audition, regardless of previous experience or declared major/minor. You can sign up for an audition time by visiting the and completing the webform found there. For auditions you will be asked to read from one of the scripts and there will be callbacks September 29-October 3. There are parts for over 40 readers. Questions can be sent to Mark Kuntz at kuntzm@wwu.edu.
All Theatre and Dance Department auditions are open to all students! You do not need to be a major or minor to get involved, so feel free to join us on this collaborative adventure!
