Bellingham Police Release Sketch of Suspected Voyeur

The Bellingham Police Department has released a sketch of a suspect based on their investigation into five reported voyeurism cases since Sept. 9, 2018, including incidents near Western鈥檚 campus. The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, slender build, dark hair and many times wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
 
University Police has increased its safety emphasis during patrols at night on and near campus. If you observe suspicious behavior or need to report a crime please call University Police at 650-3911 or 911 for incidents occurring on campus. You can also call the University Police anonymous reporting line at: (360) 650-SAFE (7233).  For incidents occurring off campus please contact the Bellingham Police at 911.

You are encouraged to review crime prevention information, including personal safety tips, is available on the University Police website. The university provides public safety assistants ("Greencoats"), who are available to escort students, faculty, staff and visitors to enhance safety during evening hours.
