Budget office releases analysis of governor's latest budget recommendation

The University Planning and Budgeting Office at Western Washington University on Wednesday provided its most recent analysis of Gov. Chris Gregoire's Dec. 15 recommendation for the 2012-13 operating budget.

Paula Gilman, executive director of UPB, sent the following message to all 草榴社区 faculty and staff members Dec. 22:

Colleagues,

We have been working with our counterparts across the state on reviewing the governor`s Dec. 15 recommendation for the 2011-13 operating budget. .

As Bruce mentioned in an earlier email, this is the first budget recommendation in a long process that will move to the legislature, and we do not expect to have a final budget until mid-April 2011.

We will continue to keep you informed as we learn more.
