Call for Student Applications: The Kohlmeier-Mikulencak Scholarship

Submit your application for the Kohlmeier scholarship by May 17Awarded through the , Western鈥檚 recently endowed Kohlmeier-Mikulencak Scholarship in Honor of Arthur Poznanski has an important mission: to reward a student who possesses not only strong moral courage, but someone who stands up for an individual or group in the face of great opposition. The ideal recipient is someone who is not afraid to face the consequences of speaking out despite intense pressure to stay silent.

Arthur Poznanski, a Holocaust survivor, dedicated his post-war life to his community and to educating youth about discrimination and bigotry. The 2021-2022 Kohlmeier-Mikulencak scholarship ($2,000) will be awarded to a student who embodies Poznanski鈥檚 tremendous spirit; .

This scholarship is open to all 草榴社区 undergraduate students - you don鈥檛 have to be a minor in Holocaust & Genocide Studies to apply. There is no minimum GPA requirement, and no financial need requirement.
