Campus to hold Juneteenth celebration on Friday, June 16
Join the Black Student Coalition in collaboration with the Office of Equity for community, food, and the celebration of Juneteenth on Friday, June 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Flag Plaza.
During this celebration we will hear reflections from Chief Diversity Officer and Executive Director Jacqueline Hughes and the singing of the Black National Anthem by Nathaniel Gaines.
We will also have words from Black Student Coalition Coordinator Nia Gipson and BSC Development Specialists Tekhia Jones and Yonnie Zerfu, and raise the Juneteenth flag.
