草榴社区 Lunch & Learn: Capital Development & Strategic Visioning Plan
Friday, Nov. 3, from 11 a.m. to Noon in Viking Union 462 A/B
Open to all Western employees

The 草榴社区 Lunch & Learn series explores content promoting the health and wellbeing of our university people, places, and planet using the as our guide.

Join us this Friday, Nov. 3, to learn about Western鈥檚 new process with project consultants, NAC Architecture. The Plan will be Western鈥檚 guide to improving and modernizing our physical Bellingham campus over the next 10-15 years. It鈥檚 anticipated that a large part of the development will be focused on renovating and modernizing existing academic and administrative buildings due to building age and condition.

In addition to extensive research and analysis about our existing spaces and their uses, NAC Architecture hopes to collect feedback from diverse voices across campus about what is currently working well along with suggestions for improving Western鈥檚 built environment to better meet the University鈥檚 mission and values, service to our communities and to create a better sense of belonging.

We hope to see you there so you can share your thoughts on the future of Western鈥檚 Bellingham campus.

Warmly,

Joyce Lopes, VP for Business & Financial Affairs
Dr. Sislena Ledbetter, Associate VP for Counseling, Health, and Wellbeing
Faye Gallant, Assistant Vice President for Strategy, Management & Budget.
