CBE to host student club fair Oct. 4

Students who are interested in learning more about the student clubs at Western’s College of Business and Economics are invited to attend the Third Annual CBE Student Club Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4.

The event will be held on the bricks area outside the first floor level of Parks Hall (weather permitting), or inside the plaza level of Parks Hall if weather is not permitting.

The event is being organized by Western’s College of Business and Economics and is open to all Western students; admission to the fair is free. Snacks and small giveaway items will be available and there will be a raffle prize.

The CBE Student Club Fair will offer students a chance to meet with student club officers in an informal setting. In addition to learning about professional development, networking, and leadership opportunities available with the student clubs, students can also learn about the different business and economics concentration/major areas available in the College of Business and Economics.

CBE has student clubs covering a wide variety of business disciplines. Student clubs and organizations that are expected to participate in the CBE Student Club Fair include: Alpha Kappa Psi, American Production Inventory Control Society, Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Society, Collegiate DECA, Economics Association, Financial Management Association, International Business, Management Information Systems Association, Northwest Human Resource Management Association, Net Impact, the Student Marketing Association, and more.

A representative from 草榴社区’s Career Services Center’s will also attend. For more information, contact Kyla McCauley at kyla.mccauley@wwu.edu .
