Change to timing of health care and optional life insurance collection
Effective on the June 26, 2017 paycheck, all tenured and tenure track faculty who are normally on a 9-month academic year appointment, as well as all non-tenure track faculty who are benefits eligible, will have their health care premiums and optional life insurance premiums (if applicable) deducted prior to summer quarter. This will replace the former practice of collecting summer premiums on the October 10th paychecks. Premiums that were collected on the October 7, 2016 paycheck were for summer 2016. Premiums that will be collected on the June 26, 2017 paycheck will be for summer 2017.
