Children, parents can enjoy night out March 6

In need of a date night? Know a child interested in science?

Curious children in grades 3 through 5 may attend , presented by 草榴社区 Youth Programs, from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 6.

The evening will include an exploration of the stars through hands-on activities in the SMATE building on campus. Following their lessons, children will have an hour-long swim at the Wade King Student Recreation Center.

The cost to participate is $35, and parents are encouraged to pack a backpack with a swimsuit, towel and snack. Registration is available .
