Earth Week events on campus kick off on April 21
The end of April means a few different things at Western: June commencement is inching closer, cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and Earth Week is upon us! Here, one day just isn鈥檛 enough to fit all the celebrations of our planet happening around campus.
Kick off the week with the annual Earth Week Fair, hosted by the Sustainability Engagement Institute. Join us in Red Square on Monday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for games, a craft market, free swag, and resources from a variety of campus and community organizations.
The rest of the week is full of events hosted by awesome organizations from every corner of campus! Highlights from the lineup include: a 鈥淭rashion Show鈥 with Zero Waste Western and the Recycle Center, upcycling crafts with the Community Service Center, a planting workshop with the Outback Farm and the WHOLE Pantry, an evening of climate storytelling with AMP, symposia, rallies, cook-ins, and so much more!
