Employee bus passes for the 2011-12 school year are now on sale. The employee cost for an academic year pass is $58; the passes are valid Sept. 19, 2011, to June 17, 2012. The employee cost for a fall quarter pass is $23; the quarter passes are valid Sept. 19, 2011, to Jan. 1, 2012.

To purchase a pass:

• Employees who are eligible for payroll deduction may submit the "Viking Xpress Bus Pass Payroll Authorization" esign form found on the . Bus passes will be delivered via campus mail. Those who have recently submitted an esign form for a 2011-2012 academic year or fall quarter employee bus pass need not do so again.
• Alternately, employees can purchase a pass in person at the Sustainable Transportation office in Viking Commons Room 25 or by mailing a bus pass request form to the Sustainable Transportation office via campus mail (Sustainable Transportation, MS 9197). After employees fill out the form, they can either pick up the pass immediately (or have it sent via campus mail) if using payroll deduction or have their account charged for the pass, which will be distributed after payment is confirmed. Payment for those not using payroll deduction may be made online or at the cashier’s office. Employees should not try to pay the fee at the cashier’s office until they have given their filled-out bus pass form to the Sustainable Transportation office.
