Film 'Wild Reverence' on Northwest steelhead to be shown May 31 at Pickford
Western Libraries聽, a division of聽, will host a display in collaboration with the Native Fish Society at the film "" at the Pickford Film Center in Bellingham Friday, May 31.
A reception begins at 7:15 p.m., and the film starts at 8:15 p.m.
In chronicling the plight of the west coast鈥檚 wild steelhead, filmmaker Shane Anderson takes viewers on a journey from Southern California to Washington鈥檚 Olympic Peninsula. "Wild Reverence" shares the stories of steelhead rivers and the people who love them, illustrating where things are working, where they are broken and how people can turn the decline around and save wild fish for future generations. 聽A discussion with Anderson will follow the film.
