Flags to be at half-staff Feb. 8 in memory of U.S. Marine
Gov. Chris Gregoire has directed that flags at all Washington state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Wednesday, Feb. 8, in memory of U. S. Marine Corps Sgt. William C. Stacey, 23, of Seattle, who died Jan. 31 in Afghanistan of injuries sustained from an improvised explosive device.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Wednesday or first thing Thursday morning, Feb. 9.
Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
