Flags to be lowered to half-staff May 11 in honor of Yelm's Mark W. Coleman
Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire has directed that flags at all Washington state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday, May 11, in memory of U. S. Army Master Sgt. Mark W. Coleman, 40, of Yelm, who died May 2 in Afghanistan of injuries he sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Tuesday or first thing Wednesday morning, May 12.
