Food Assistance/SNAP Sign Up on March 7 in the Flag Plaza
Groceries are expensive! Food assistance/SNAP may help students with their grocery bills. The Basic Needs Hub is bringing the DSHS mobile office to campus Friday, March 7, in the Flag Plaza (near the Rec Center) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Students may be eligible if you:
- Currently have work study as part of financial aid or,
- Who work 20 hours a week or 80 hours a month or,
- Who has dependents
Students must have a WA state ID and cannot have a campus meal plan. You can go through the entire SNAP process on March 7 and if approved receive your EBT card to use for groceries.
Students-please bring your financial aid award letter showing you have accepted work study, or at least 3 paystubs if you are working at least 20 hours a week, plus your Washington state ID. There may be a line to apply so please plan accordingly. This is a great opportunity to go through this process in one easy step. To learn more about SNAP eligibility.
