Free Dryish January Resources from Counseling and Wellness

2025 is around the corner, and the invites students to start the new year with a Dryish January challenge!

Dryish January is short for pausing alcohol, cannabis, and other substances to examine the parts of your life (social, health, financial, etc.) it may be affecting and make changes if you choose. The 鈥渋sh鈥 means that even if you aren鈥檛 substance free every day of the month, you can still participate and still gain the benefits. Anyone can do Dryish January, even those who haven鈥檛 thought about their substance use before.

Visit the Counseling and Wellness Center鈥檚  for more information, a calendar of journal prompts, and a downloadable guidebook. Students can order a free while supplies last. And, if you鈥檙e interested in going dryish but can鈥檛 participate in January, you can bookmark the website and save the challenge for another month.
