Do you have a million-dollar idea?

The presents "The BIG Idea Fast Pitch Competition," sponsored by the BIG Idea Lab. Participants are invited to develop a business idea to pitch to local business leaders.

This event will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12.

A total of $500 in prize money is up for grabs, so competition is sure to be fierce!

Each team is allowed only 5 minutes to pitch its idea. Also, each team is allowed to use up to one object, so teams shouldn't waste time making a lengthy PowerPoint presentation.聽

The two categories are web/mobile applications and sustainable technology. . Questions also can be sent to wwudeca@gmail.com.

Weekly DECA meetings are open to the public. The meetings are every Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in Parks Hall Room 244. DECA is a great way to meet new people, network, learn real-life lessons from business professionals and just have fun. Hope to see you there!
