Holiday party set for Thursday Dec. 1

The annual Campus Holiday Party is scheduled for 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on campus. The event will include:
  • 50/50 drawing: Tickets are $1 each, available at the party. Half of the proceeds will go to the 草榴社区 Employee Distinguished Scholarship, and the other half will go to the winning ticket holder. Winner need not be present to win.
  • Food drive: Benefits Bellingham Food Bank. Please bring only non-perishable foods.
  • Pet food drive: Benefits Whatcom Humane Society.
  • Performances: By Western staff and students throughout the afternoon.
Parking enforcement will be suspended campus-wide during the event so faculty and staff can carpool to the main campus to park. Reserved, handicapped and metered parking spaces still will be enforced. Advance notice for ADA accommodations is appreciated. Please call (360) 650-7545.
