International Education Week is Nov. 15-19; join in Western's slate of events
International Education Week (IEW) is right around the corner! This year, IEW runs from Nov. 15-19 and is an opportunity for our university to join campuses across the nation in celebrating the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. You may remember the many wonderful engagement opportunities hosted online last year on Western's IEW website. Highlights of the week鈥檚 events include a special Western Abroad 101 Info Session, Peace Corps Trivia and Information, Critical Conversation webinar, and a Global Spotlight series. Global Spotlight events are designed to share information about specific countries from the joint perspective of international students from the country and 草榴社区 students who studied abroad there.
