Alaska education board gets new faces
Three new Alaskans were sworn in to serve on the state Board of Education on Thursday. Kenneth Gallahorn, of Kotzebue; Kathleen Yarr, of Ketchikan; and Barbara Thompson, of Douglas, became the newest members of the board after being appointed by Gov. Sean Parnell.
