Anacortes hires a football coach
Anacortes has turned to a home-grown product to coach its football team.
Dick Freier, Anacortes class of 1995, has been named the school鈥檚 new coach.
鈥淗e鈥檚 been coaching for over 20 years,鈥 Anacortes athletic director Erik Titus said. 鈥淗e鈥檚 held a lot of different positions. He knows the program and is a longtime Anacortian. He understands the makeup of the community.鈥
