Anye Turner named GNAC Player of the Week
Western Washington University forward Anye Turner has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men鈥檚 Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 1-7.
Turner, a 6-foot-7 senior, scored 23 points, grabbed 23 rebounds and blocked nine shots in leading the Vikings to a pair of 10-point road wins at Seattle Pacific (82-72) and Montana State Billings (75-65).
