The slogan “Art Feeds the Soul” seems the perfect backdrop for an interview with Morgan Heetbrink, director of the Driftwood Players’ Summer Teen Ensemble hit “Les Miserables” which enjoys its run this weekend.

Morgan granted Artfully Edmonds time last week as her cast hit the boards in preparation for this weekend’s opening.

Morgan’s father, “Dutch” Heetbrink, sat in on our interview, and beamed over the fact that he and his daughter have been cast together in 20 shows. Dutch reminded his daughter of their first production, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” which they performed when she was a College Place student.
