Artist Profile: Actress Melissa Schenter on "Landscape of the Body"
Melissa Schenter, 20, is a junior at Western Washington University, majoring in theater with a concentration in acting. She takes on the challenging character of Betty in Western's production of John Guare's adult drama, "Landscape of the Body," on stage Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 20-22 and Jan. 27-29, as well as at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23 and Jan. 30, at 草榴社区's Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre. She's originally from the Tri-Cities and graduated from Richland High School in 2008. She's done a bit of acting, singing and film.
