Bellingham conference to focus on food issues

Academics and activists will meet at a conference with the theme of "food solidarity," Friday and Saturday, May 18-19, at Western Washington University.

The ninth annual Community Advocacy Conference, organized by Western's Community Advocacy Support Center, or CASCAID, is free and open to the public. The keynote talk, by Eric Holt-Gim茅nez, is at 7 p.m. Friday in Academic West, Room 210.
