Big, Beautiful and Hidden in the Pacific Northwest

Northwest Washington possesses a relatively lesser known four-year university that exhibits natural beauty and impressive campus character that is likely the envy of many colleges throughout the country. This college is Western Washington University. This is not a small institution; the campus includes a comfortable 215 acres and its undergraduate and graduate enrollment includes 14,979 students (13,809 undergraduate and 1,170 graduate students). The campus overlooks spectacular Bellingham Bay and several of the San Juan Islands and is bounded on the east by Sehome Hill Park, approximately 300 acres of natural forest which includes the 38-acre Sehome Arboretum. Located on the southern edge of the city of Bellingham, Western Washington University is located in a suburban setting only 55 miles from Vancouver, British Columbia, and 90 miles from Seattle.
