Bob Storms, who says he's "closing in on 74 years of age," was a music teacher in Ferndale schools for 38 years, teaching band, chorus, general music, stage band and elementary school band.
He has lived in Whatcom County since graduating from Western Washington University in 1960. To celebrate his fulfillment to write and enter nearly 700 songs into copyright, he will host a concert that features nothing but music he has written at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at First Baptist Church of Bellingham, 110 Flora St.
