Breakfast and memories: Gathering celebrates 75th anniversary of Olympic National Park
About three dozen people packed into a sunlit wing of Lake Crescent Lodge on Saturday morning for a breakfast held in honor of Olympic National Park's 75th anniversary.
Outside the 97-year-old lodge, birds flitted through the near-cloudless sky as parents helped children get into canoes for a paddle on Lake Crescent.
鈥淚 have the honor of running the most amazing part of Olympic National Park, the Lake Crescent Lodge,鈥 said lodge General Manager Todd Gubler, drawing a few chuckles from the crowd.
