CLC hires Cassandra McKinney as director of the Green Economy and Sustainable Water Center
Cassandra McKinney became director of the College of Lake County Green Economy and Sustainable Water Center, effective July 2.
Most recently, McKinney worked as water resources manager for McHenry County Government in Woodstock, Ill., where she started and directed the county鈥檚 water resources program for five years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Western Washington University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Dakota. McKinney serves on the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency鈥檚 Northern Regional Groundwater Protection Planning Committee and the Northwest Water Planning Alliance.
