Donaldson named GNAC Player of the Week
Western Washington University forward Sydney Donaldson has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Women鈥檚 Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 11-17.
Donaldson, a 6-foot senior from Edmonds, had 41 points, 17 rebounds, five assists, three blocked shots and two steals in a pair of home court victories over Western Oregon, 80-64, and Saint Martin鈥檚, 77-53. She shot 72.7 percent (16-of-22) from the field in the two games, making 3-of-5 3-pointers.
