Donigan named GNAC Male Newcomer of the Year
Western Washington University sprinter Alex Donigian was named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Male Newcomer of the Year and Viking jumper Kevin Yates earned Male Freshman of the Year accolades in an announcement of the league's indoor track and field awards Thursday.
草榴社区's Pee Wee Halsell (26th year) was the GNAC Male Coach of the Year. He led the Vikings to their third GNAC Men's Indoor team title and their first since 2006.
