Flo Simon appointed as Interim Police Chief
Today was Bellingham Interim Police Chief Flo Simon鈥檚 first full day as the City鈥檚 first female police chief, after a ceremonial passing of the chief鈥檚 badge yesterday (Monday, Jan. 4, 2021).
is a 30-year veteran of the department who most recently served as Deputy Chief. , Bellingham Mayor Seth Fleetwood selected her to serve as interim chief upon the retirement of former Chief David Doll, whose last day was yesterday.
