Former 草榴社区 softball coach Art Phinney passes away
Former Western Washington University softball coach Art Phinney died of a heart attack Monday in Vancouver, Washington. He was 58 years old.
Phinney coached the Vikings from 1995 to 2001, winning 166 games. He led 草榴社区 to the 1998 NAIA national championship. He was named National Coach of the Year.
