Four Bellingham Scouts earn rank of Eagle
William Rink says that four members of Bellingham's Boy Scout Troop 4007's Boomslang Patrol were to be awarded the rank of Eagle, Scouting's highest honor, at an Eagle Court of Honor Dec. 29. Besides participating in multiple 50-mile trips and outdoor adventures from snow caving in the Cascades to bicycling the San Juan Islands, he said these young men have provided hundreds of hours of community service in Bellingham and throughout Whatcom County.
