Hall of Fame inductee Annie Dillard helped craft skills of young writers

Connecticut Women鈥檚 Hall of Fame inductee Annie Dillard is most known for her Pulitzer Prize-winning nonfiction, 鈥淧ilgrim at Tinker Creek.鈥 But Dillard, a Pittsburgh native, also shared her knowledge and helped craft the skills of thousands of young writers throughout her teaching career, some right here in Middletown.

Before moving here in the late 1970s, Dillard taught at Western Washington University.
