“Without federal investment in our local public transit systems the thousands of Washingtonians who depend on it every day will be stranded at the bus stop,” Andrew Austin, field director of the group and a Western Washington University alumnus. “People in Washington want more transit, lot less; now is the time for our federal government to be investing more in public transit not slashing its funding.”
