Hudson's Bay High School experiences musical renaissance, more than tripling enrollment in three years

At 6:30 a.m. in the frosty winter darkness, Kyle Spisla tunes his trombone and joins a half dozen other young jazz lovers to play Count Basie at Hudson's Bay High School.
The school is having a musical renaissance, nurtured by three young and enthusiastic teachers, Mike Meskel, Robin Sonderland and Kareah Nicoson. The music pours from the school all day long.

Student enrollment in music programs has more than tripled over the past three years.
