Inslee talks about mental health resources for Washingtonians during disasters
Gov. Jay Inslee and mental health experts talked Thursday about the importance of Washingtonians seeking help when they need it and looking out for one another during disasters.
鈥淭he ongoing pandemic, the historic protests for change, the wildfires, the bad air quality, the loss of our loved ones 鈥 people are fighting for their lives, their livelihoods and their homes,鈥 Inslee said during the virtual press conference. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a lot to take in, and that鈥檚 tough.鈥
He said it鈥檚 normal not to feel OK and that it鈥檚 important to look for signs and symptoms in ourselves and others that it鈥檚 time to ask for help.
