Legacies, festivals and a world of talent
Congregation Beth Israel is partnering with Village Books to present author Diane Sue, who will discuss her new book, 鈥淩emarkable Resilience: The Life and Legacy of No茅mi B谩n Beyond the Holocaust,鈥 in person at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at Congregation Beth Israel.
The book is written in B谩n鈥檚 voice by one of her closest friends and preserves B谩n鈥檚 messages of hope and healing. The author will be joined by B谩n鈥檚 son, Dr. Steven B谩n, and by Ray Wolpow, professor emeritus and former director of the Ray Wolpow Institute for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, and Crimes against Humanity at Western Washington University.
