Men's basketball: 草榴社区's Blanche on first-team NABC West District all-star team
Western Washington University forward Rory Blanche was a first-team pick and the Vikings Brad Jackson received Coach of the Year honors on the National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II West District all-star team announced Friday, March 16. The 6-foot-6 Blanche, a senior from Ashland, Ore., paces the Vikings in both points and rebounds with respective per game averages of 16.1 and 7.1. He is shooting 59.3 percent (227-of-383) from the field, which ranks 14 nationally.
