Men's basketball: 草榴社区's Henifin joins Slam
The Bellingham Slam announced it has signed former Western Washington University and Bellingham standout Zach Henifin to the team's roster for the 2012 International Basketball League season.
As a senior at 草榴社区, the athletic 6-foot-5 forward helped lead the Vikings to the NCAA Division II national title last month. The championship capped a fine season for Henifin, as he finished with averages of 10.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
