Northwest Indian College announces $100,000 contribution from Amazon
Amazon has contributed $100,000 to Northwest Indian College to fund scholarships and support students of one of the only Native Environmental Science programs in the country.
鈥淲e are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Amazon, which will likely not only open doors, but help to equip students with the support they need to be successful,鈥 said Northwest Indian College President Justin P. Guillory in a news release.
The funding will ensure critical curriculum and perspective is more accessible to students so they can become better stewards of the environment in the Pacific Northwest and beyond, according to the school.
