Organ comes alive at Bremerton church
The 5,000-member church raised about $350,000 to install the new organ. It's the final addition of a church renovation project that began in 2007.
The organ, built in 1951 by the M.P. Moller Pipe Organ Co., was purchased by the church from Western Washington University for $15,000. The bulk of the costs have come in the installation of the pipes, as well as a steel beam to support their weight.
