A special delivery of six handmade quilts will make hospital rooms feel more like home for kids in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.

The quilts were a gift from Tracey Finch and Becky Striggow, who work at Western Washington University in Bellingham.

“Kids tend to go to blankets for comfort,” Finch said. “We want the kids to have something that feels homey.”
